Melinda Tilley dreamed up The Ritz Academy while she was looking for a cosmetology school for her daughter. After being in the beauty industry for several decades and owning her own Aveda salon, The Ritz, it’s safe to say she had very high standards. So when none of the schools nearby sparked joy, she knew she was called to open her own school—thus The Ritz Academy was born.
